AKRON, Ohio – If holiday decorating or shopping is on your to-do list, consider checking out the Akron Christmas Arts & Crafts show Dec. 5-7 at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall.

It’s the 45th year for the event, which features more than 110 professional artists and craftspeople. Attendees can browse original artwork and fine crafts while enjoying holiday music and gourmet treats.

Artists will offer goods in a variety of mediums, including paintings, artistic photography, sewing, leather work, floral arranging, glass art, jewelry, wood carving, pottery, soap, candles, paper crafts and gourmet food.

Show hours are Friday, Dec. 5 from noon to 7 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults, $4.50 for individuals ages 62 and older, and free for children ages 12 and younger. Attendees who bring a digital or printed copy of the event flyer can save $.50 on admission, according to the event website.

E.J. Thomas Hall is located at 198 Hill St. on the University of Akron campus. Free parking is available in the E.J. Thomas Parking Deck.
