The annual Avon Fall Avant-Garde Art & Craft show will return this month for one more outdoor show of the season, according to a news release.

This year’s show takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Emerald Event Center, 33040 Just Imagine Drive in Avon.

There is free admission and parking, according to the release.

For those who love shopping local and handmade, the fall event is the place to be with a variety of handmade artists and and crafters in-house, the release said.

Items available for sale include — but are not limited to — accessories for your furry friends, handmade woodworks, jewelry and more, according to the release.

“We always look forward to making our way back to the Avon area each year to close out our outdoor show season,” said Becki Silverstein, the show’s founder, in the release. “Each show in Avon is always a great success thanks to our vendors and all of the patrons who come out.

“This year’s show really brings an eclectic variety to the area and we can’t wait to share the talent with the community while supporting a great cause along the way.”

Founded in Cleveland, the show made its first appearance in Central Ohio in 2011.

To date, the show holds nearly 30 events in the Midwest annually, according to the release.
