Click Clack Craft was started by Community Voluntary Services Tendring (CVST) and is run by volunteers.
The group was established to provide a place for friendship and reduce loneliness and isolation.
Patricia Hitchcock, one of the earliest members and a representative of CVST, said: “Click Clack is a lovely, welcoming and friendly group where members can come and do their own crafts, whether that is knitting or crochet or other crafts, or come along to learn.
“We share tips and skills and enjoy the company, along with a cuppa and a biscuit.
“It’s brilliant to have reached 10 years and this success is a testament to how important it is to have groups like this for the community as well as how valued they are.
“I’ve always loved being a part of Click Clack Craft and feel proud we have been running for ten years with no plans to end.
“A big thank you to all the volunteers who keep the group running and everyone who comes along.”
The group meets at Imperial House, Rosemary Road on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 2pm to 4pm.
Attendees can bring their own project or try something new, with basic materials and support provided.
