Craft Festival Wales, which took place at Cardigan Castle, saw visitors from across Wales, England, and overseas.
The event was a celebration of crafts, featuring more than 100 professional makers.
The festival extended throughout Cardigan, with six venues hosting events and exhibitions.
One of the highlights was an exhibition of woven textiles and willow at the Canfas gallery, curated by Suzy Parks.
This exhibition will continue until October 5.
A craft trail, showcasing original crafts curated by Oriel Myrddin from Carmarthen, is also on display in various locations until October 5.
These locations include the windows of Mwldan, The Albion by Fforest, Walden Arts, Crwst, Awen Teifi, and Studio 3.
The festival had a diverse programme, including live music by local artists, storytelling, street entertainers, and theatre.
There were also craft workshops, demonstrations, and talks by leading makers.
Free children’s craft activities were delivered by Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre, National Woollen Museum, Carmarthen School of Art, Coleg Ceredigion, Cered Menter Iaith, and Walden Arts.
The event was opened by broadcaster and author Kate Humble, while First Minister Eluned Morgan attended and presented a series of awards.
The ‘Best Maker in Wales’ award went to Llio James, a textile designer and weaver from Talybont, who now works from Cardiff.
The ‘Best Stand’ award was presented to Justyna Medon from Addicted to Patterns, printmakers and surface decoration specialists, from Pontyrhyl near Bridgend.
The ‘Peer Award’, voted for by the exhibitors, went to local textile artist Sophie Snow from St Dogmaels.
The inaugural ‘Roddy and Pat James Memorial Prize for Best Ceramics’ was presented to potter Ella Bua-In from Cardigan.
Craft Festival Wales has become an annual event in Cardigan, thanks to support from Event Wales, part of the Welsh Government, Arts Council of Wales, the Ceredigion County Council Shared Prosperity Fund, and local business partners.
The festival features professional makers, each chosen by an independent selection panel for the quality and originality of their work.
Craft Festival Wales 2026 will return to Cardigan Castle from September 11 to September 13, 2026.
Applications for makers to exhibit, along with visitor tickets, will open soon.
