Craft Sunday at RPAC Art Center this Sunday, October 13th from 11 AM – 3 PM
Many locals may remember CY Collective from its previous location under Books on the Common on Main Street, where Turkey Ridge used to be. Families enjoyed stopping by to craft with their kids and take their creations home. For the first time since closing that space, CY Collective is bringing back this beloved experience at the RPAC Art Center, right next to Tazza!
“We miss the families who used to visit, especially on weekends, to create crafts in our unique craft room,” said Lina Zhang, owner of CY Collective. “We are thrilled to offer this opportunity again!”
Since closing in June earlier this year, CY Collective has developed craft kits that families can take home or give as gifts. These kits include all necessary materials and come with a QR code for video instructions.
Conveniently located on Main Street next to Tazza Café, parents can enjoy a coffee while their kids create crafts. The best part? Children can take their crafts home immediately, thanks to special packaging that allows the project to travel even before it dries. A quick stop at Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe across the street makes for a perfect family afternoon!
While the general age range is 4 to 10, younger children are welcome! Families are also encouraged to stop by and learn more about the art classes and after-school programs offered at RPAC Art Center.
About CY Collective
CY Collective was founded in April 2023 by longtime jewelry maker Lina Zhang. Initially a gift shop featuring Lina’s own collections and items from local vendors, the business has since transitioned to online retail. However, the crafts and birthday parties that were a hallmark of the former location remain a central focus. CY Collective continues to offer these activities online, at local events, and in partnership with cherished local businesses. Guided by community-centric values, CY Collective now offers a diverse range of products and services.
