Art on the Prom will once again see artists, potters, photographers, craftspeople, jewellers, and woodworkers transform Felixstowe’s Promenade into a ‘vibrant’ display of creativity on Sunday, September 7.
The event, which began in 2002, is marking its 19th year.

Visitors can expect more than just arts and crafts this year, with organisers planning to include musical entertainment, charity showcases, and food stalls.
Art on the Prom, run by Bonny Williams, Iona Hodgson, and Nichola Adams, is free to attend.
The event offers artworks and crafts from creatives across East Anglia, with something for every budget.
Organisers encourage visitors to support the artistic community and enjoy a day out with family.
The event is made possible with financial and organisational support from East Suffolk Council, Felixstowe Town Council, and the Felixstowe BID.
The event first began in 2002 (Image: Louise Greenwood) Young artists between 18 and 25 years old, who are Felixstowe residents with an IP11 postcode, are encouraged to apply for free exhibition pitches.
Artists and craftspeople can also apply for a pitch via the event’s website.
Nearby businesses are being sought for sponsorship to support the event, which attracts more than 10,000 visitors.
The sponsorship provides a chance to connect with a wide audience interested in art, with benefits like logo inclusion on event materials and posters, and a free gazebo pitch on the day.
The organisers are continuing to recruit volunteers to help out at the event.
Musicians and buskers interested in performing can also apply.
Applications and enquiries can be sent to felixstoweartontheprom@gmail.com.
