Holiday Craft and Vendor Show returns for local holiday shopping at the Cloquet Armory and the Pine Tree Plaza Saturday Nov. 22 from 9am-3pm.

Black Friday is just a week away, but holiday shopping is already going strong in Cloquet. The annual Holiday Craft and Vendor Show is back at the Cloquet Armory. This year is shaping up to be even bigger and better than last year. Dozens of small businesses and local vendors will be providing plenty of desserts, jewelry, artwork and more possible gifts for the holidays.

Noelle Parker says organizing the event starts in August, but providing a space for local businesses is critical for the upcoming holidays.

“This helps everybody, because you never know what somebody is going through. This might be their only source of income with the economy right now. You never know what’s going to happen,” Parker said. “So if we can help out another small business, that’s why we do it. That’s one of the reasons why we love to. You would find a lot of special gifts for the holiday season. It’s really good. There’s such a vast variety that I can’t thank the vendors enough who support me and do this every year.”

The Holiday Craft and Vendor Show also has pet adoption opportunities. Liberty K9 Rescue Ranch have plenty of dogs available for families wanting to bring family pet home for the holidays.

There’s also plenty of holiday vendors and craft shopping happening tomorrow at the Pine Tree Plaza. A free shuttle will take you between the two locations. The Holiday Craft and Vendor Show continues Saturday November 22nd and Santa will make a special appearance at 10am.
