SOMERSWORTH — St. Ignatius Parish will host its 11th annual Spirit of Christmas Fair on Friday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Martin Church Hall, 120 Maple St.

The two-day event features a popular penny sale, stage raffle, cookie carousel, handmade crafts, holiday décor, gently used jewelry, and a country bakery. Visitors can enjoy lunch and dinner offerings, along with a wide selection of desserts.

Admission is free, and parking is available in the back lot. Organizers invite the community to stop by and kick off the holiday season.

Madbury Church hosts annual Holiday Fair & Luncheon

MADBURY — The Madbury Church will hold its annual Holiday Fair & Luncheon on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Madbury Town Hall.

The event features a homemade lunch with soups, chowders, chili, stews, breads, ice cream, and pie, available for dine-in or takeout. Shoppers can browse crafts, gifts, holiday decorations, and vintage and gently used items, including children’s goods.

Organizers invite the community to enjoy festive food and holiday shopping with friends and neighbors.

Holiday Craft Fair coming to Newington Town Hall

NEWINGTON — The Newington Town Church, UCC, will host its annual Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Newington Town Hall, 205 Nimble Hill Road.

This year’s fair features a wide variety of vendors offering handcrafted goods, including artwork, woodcrafts, birdhouses, beeswax candles, folk art, and photography. Shoppers will also find handmade jewelry, herbal bath products, crocheted critters, lap quilts, lanterns, collectibles, baked goods, and homemade jams.

The event includes silent auction baskets for all ages, raffle items, and food and drinks available for purchase throughout the day. Organizers encourage the community to stop by and get a head start on holiday shopping.

Holiday Fair returns to St. Martha’s Church in Kennebunk

KENNEBUNK, Maine — Holy Spirit Parish will host its annual Holiday Fair on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Martha’s Church on Route 1.

The fair will feature jewelry, books, toys, crafts, and Christmas items, along with a major auction and raffle. Food and desserts will be available throughout the event.

Armenian Church Bazaar features food and more

HAVERHILL, Mass. — Holy Archangels Armenian Church will host its Annual Church Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 15, from noon to 6 p.m. at 1280 Boston Road (Rte. 125), Exit 106.

The event features authentic Armenian cuisine, including lamb, chicken, shish and losh kebab, kheyma, vegetarian plates, and homemade pastries. Visitors can browse booths offering products from Armenia, gift baskets, and Armenian cookbooks, with cash raffles also available.

KITTERY, Maine — Art on the Hill studio artists and local artisans at the old brick school house on the hill in Kittery will host their annual Holiday Open Studios on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event is free, open to the public, and there is plenty of parking at 78 Government St., home of the big, green chair.

You will find fine art, jewelry, ceramics, textiles, herbal diffusions, floral arrangements, creative vintage clothing, and other one-of-a-kind stocking stuffers, and meet the makers in their space. As more people recognize the importance of the art community and supporting local artists and makers, Art on the Hill aims to contribute to building and sustaining a vital, creative community. Buying local art adds value to the holiday giving season.

Kittery Church hosts annual Evergreen Festival

KITTERY, Maine — The Second Christian Congregational Church of Kittery will hold its annual Evergreen Festival on Saturday, Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 33 Government Street.

Highlights include a Country Store stocked with baked beans, fudge, jams, jellies, and other homemade treats. There will also be hand-crafted gifts, ornaments, decorated wreaths, attic treasures, and a raffle.

Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5, with the drawing at 1 p.m. (attendance not required). Coffee and hot chocolate will be served in the morning.

Craft fair to benefit Exeter Holiday Parade

EXETER — The annual craft fair supporting the Exeter Holiday Parade will take place Saturday, Nov. 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Exeter Town Hall, located at 10 Front Street across from the bandstand.

Held on Small Business Saturday, the event features more than 35 local crafters and artisans offering handmade goods across two floors. Vendor space for the 2025 fair has completely sold out, and admission is free to the public. Fees paid by participating vendors help fund the upcoming Exeter Holiday Parade.

The building is accessible by elevator, and visitors are encouraged to make a day of holiday shopping in downtown Exeter.

Sanctuary Arts hosts fifth annual Winter Art Fair

ELIOT, Maine — Sanctuary Arts will hold its Fifth Annual Winter Art Fair on Sunday, Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 117 Bolt Hill Road.

Set in the venue’s cathedral-like space, the fair features holiday shopping from resident artists, instructors, and local creatives. Shoppers can browse ceramics, bronze castings, paintings, jewelry, textiles, holiday wreaths, and more. Exhibitors include Lauren Dow, Julie Marvin, Ciara Wright, Judy Andrews, and others.
