A FESTIVAL celebrating art will return to Mudeford at the end of the month.
The Mudeford Arts Festival is set to return to Mudeford Quay Green on the weekend of July 26 and 27, running from 11am to 5pm each day.
One of the largest arts and craft festivals on the south coast, the event has been running since 2007 and will feature more than 70 stalls showcasing locally made arts, crafts and entertainment.
Festival director Tony Eden said: “Many people just come to browse at the wide variety of craft work that is on offer, and some come to buy their Christmas presents as there is such a wide choice. Everyone is welcome to spend time at the festival.”
As well as a full programme of live performances, there will be food stalls serving hot and cold dishes, a dedicated children’s area and craft demonstrations where visitors can try out skills for themselves.
The family-friendly festival is free to attend and is entirely organised by volunteers.
This year, it will once again support two local charities, Macmillan Caring Locally and Diverse Abilities with fundraising activities including a tombola and hook-a-duck pond with prizes donated by stallholders and businesses.
