A POPULAR three-day steam and craft fair will return to the New Forest on Friday.
The Netley Marsh Steam & Craft Show, which was first held in 1971, takes place at Meadowmead Farm in Totton.
Visitors can enjoy a packed programme of events including a steam arena, displays of classic cars and motorcycles, heavy horse parades and live evening music.

A show spokesperson said: “We are looking forward to welcoming over 50 steam engines to this year’s event, both in miniature and full-size form, including a much larger bygone working steam area where you can see the engines being put to work cutting wood, threshing and even stone crushing.
“We have been listening to feedback received from visitors and exhibitors to the show and we are pleased to announce that we will be having an area specifically dedicated for the steam engines.
“We will also have a selection of showman’s engines which will be lit up in the evening around the bar area.”
The Horsemen of the Knight Jousting Team and Ken Fox’s Wall of Death will also be entertaining the crowds, alongside displays by South Wilts Falconry, performances from children’s entertainer Fiery Jack, and a dog show.
Evening entertainment will include live music from local bands Davey Jones’ Locker, Rooster, Trav Cats, Got 2 Funk and The Underdogs.

The show is run by a committee of around 30 volunteers, and has grown in popularity over the years, with about 15,000 people attending last year’s show.
As reported, earlier this year it handed out more than £30,000 to local charities and good causes which was raised at the 2024 event.
Tickets cost £15 for adults and £9 for children aged nine to 16. Family tickets and discounts for students and OAPS are also available.
