PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Art teacher Anne Koszalka spent the summer visiting over a dozen recreation centers, seeing the city through the eyes of its creative children.
Koszalka, primarily a clay artist from South Philadelphia, got involved with the CraftNOW program about four years ago.
This summer, she was a teacher for their CraftNOW Create Summer Camp. The camp is run in partnership with the Philadelphia Department of Parks and Recreation.
It’s just one of the various programs offered by CraftNOW to service thousands of children in the city.
