What’s Included?
Tuition on tracing or free-handing your pet outline in pencil on A5 cold-pressed watercolour paper
Learn the art of watercolour painting as you create a whimsical portrait of your pet (all abilities welcome)
Outline your art in fine-liner pen (optional)
Create a floral wreath or border surrounding your pet (optional)
Throughout the afternoon, you can enjoy two Forest Distillery cocktails or soft drinks, included in your ticket price
Your artwork will be wrapped in tissue for you to take home, or you can buy an A5 frame from Melanie

About the Artist
Melanie Selstrom is an artist specialising in bespoke watercolours. Her work is inspired by flowers, folk art and animals, characterised by whimsy, detail, and personality. Melanie founded Paintings for Oakley in 2017 and lives on the Staffordshire-Cheshire border with her family. Each of her designs is created with love and carries a personal touch.
She includes her signature and an oak leaf in the corner of each piece, symbolising Oakley’s legacy. She has painted and designed for The Beeswax Wrap Company, the National Trust, Moorcroft Pottery, Moorland Pottery, The Forest Distillery and many other small businesses. She also raises funds for SANDS charity through each of her watercolour commissions.

You can ‘free-style’ your pet in pencil or you may wish to trace over a photograph. If you’d like to trace, please email a photo of your pet to Melanie in advance so that she can print it and bring it along for you. Email to: [email protected]
