This club for those who are thinking of starting a new creative hobby in 2026 will be at Dorchester Library on the first and third Tuesday of the month from 4pm to 5.30pm.
Whether you’re into the imaginative universes of Warhammer 40k, Star Wars: Legion, or other fantasy settings, or simply curious about painting miniatures, the club offers the perfect space to explore this imaginative hobby.
The first session will be on Tuesday, January 6 at 4pm.
Organisers say: “Whether you’ve never painted a miniature before or you’re returning to the hobby, this relaxed session is all about starting something new, learning simple painting techniques and enjoying a calm, creative space with others.
“Come along, try something new, and see what the hobby is all about.”
No experience is needed and a free miniature will be on offer for those aged between 12 and 18. Those taking part should be aged 12 and above.
A staff member will be present throughout each session to provide guidance and inspiration with painting, building, and playing games.
Sessions are free but places must be booked on the website Eventbrite.
