Have a go at Illuminated Letters Screen Printing at an evening workshop at The Base, Greenham.
Husband and wife artists Berkshire Printmakers are returning to one of their favourite venues on Thursday (June 13) from 6pm to 8.30pm.
This short silkscreen printing workshop is inspired by fairground fonts and illuminated manuscript letters
The printing workshop is suitable for absolute beginners and those with some printmaking experience. Every participant chooses in advance which letter they would like to print on the night.
Sarah and Cipriano Martinez bring to The Base both their knowledge and their large library of plain and patterned screens, stencils, and kaleidoscope of coloured inks.
During the workshop you will be taken step by step through how to create paper stencils, make a multilayered print and learn how to mix translucent coloured inks.
By the end of the evening, you will have your own unique print you will be proud to display on your wall at home.
