This week, Aaron chats with Dana Cowen of the Ackland Art Museum about their dazzling new exhibition: “Dürer to Matisse: 400 Years of European Prints.” On view through January 5, the exhibition covers four centuries of exquisite, intricately detailed printmaking – beginning with Albrecht Dürer, who transformed the field in the early 16th century, and continuing through multiple eras and styles to the more contemporary approaches of the 20th century.

Visit Ackland.org for more on the exhibition, including details about related programs and events.
