Varanasi: A three-day art exhibition titled ‘Vividha Aarambha’ started in Ahivasi Art Gallery at Faculty of Visual Arts, Banaras Hindu University on Thursday. The exhibition was inaugurated by the dean of the faculty Prof Uttama Dixit. Curator of the exhibition Suresh Chandra Jangid explained about the concept of the exhibition and introduced the artist.Artists from India and other countries, including Fariaz Emran, Niharika Awhona Barsaat and Medha Paromita from Bangladesh and Lisa Falk from Austria, participated in the exhibition. Prof Brahmaswaroop, head of the plastic arts department, along with scholars were present on the occasion. The exhibition will remain open till Saturday. tnn
