Century College in has completed a major renovation of its .

The renovated center features “improved accessibility, upgraded lighting and audiovisual technology, enhanced acoustics, and a revitalized lobby and Niche Gallery,” the college said in a press release.

The upgrades, the release continues, “modernize the learning and performance environment for students and enrich the audience experience for the community.”

‘s Performing and Visual Arts Center ”serves as both an academic and cultural anchor on campus, hosting theatre productions, student art exhibitions, and community events,” the college said.

On Nov. 7, the college held a grand opening celebration. More than 60 faculty, students, alumni, and community supporters attended the celebration.

“This renovation not only elevates the quality of our theatre and arts education, but it also strengthens Century College’s role as a creative hub for the east metro,” said Paul Aberasturi, theatre program and degree coordinator and director/producer of productions. “It’s a space where students, faculty, and community members can collaborate, perform, and celebrate the arts together.”
