Aug. 13—BEMIDJI — The North Country Arts and Crafts Board of Directors invites people of all abilities and ages to register now for the 49th year of the North Country Arts and Crafts Workshop.

The three-day workshop consists of 30 high quality art and craft classes taught by local and regional artists. Participants can register for one, two or three days of classes and gourmet food.

The North Country Arts and Crafts Workshop will take place Sept. 9-11 at the new Korean Village — Sup sogui Hosu — northeast of Bemidji at the main village. Lodging is also available.

Classes offered this year include weaving, bentwood boxes, needle felting, goat milk lotion, painting, mosaics, sewing, jewelry making, basket making and more.

The registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 22.
