Restaurants, bars and cafes will be hosting the last of four al fresco dining events this year.
King Street will be closed from 10am to 10pm on Sunday, August 17 to allow people to eat and drink outdoors with their families and friends.
A new open-air painting competition is also taking to the streets in Knutsford on the same day.
Paint Knutsford will see more than 30 artists set up outdoor ‘studios’ around the town, creating works of art live throughout the day.
Both professionals and amateurs will be taking part in the day-long competition from 9.30am on Sunday.
They can spend seven hours capturing their own unique image of the historic town.
Visitors will be able to pick up a map to see where each artist is located and watch the creations unfold in real time.
The following venues are taking part in the al fresco dining on Sunday:
Wallop Knutsford
Morgan Edwards
Gusto Italian
Smokehouse & Cellar Knutsford
Mowgli Street Food
Patrick’s Irish Pub
Piccolino Knutsford
The Rose and Crown
Patrons are advised to contact their chosen to see if they need to book a space in advance.
The road closure is from just after Church Hill, allowing full access to King Street car park, to Egerton Square, just by The Bath House.
Minshull Street remains open at both ‘ends’ of King Street.
