— The Alexandria Art Guild’s Center for the Visual Arts officially became a member of the Alexandria Lakes Area of Commerce after a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday, Nov. 7.

The downtown Alexandria art space will be open to the public starting on Thursday, Nov. 20, for its first public exhibit – the Holiday Art Sale. The center, located at 612 Broadway Street, will then be open Monday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., until Dec. 22.

The Center for the Visual Arts includes a wide range of visual media on display and for sale such as pottery, glass, jewelry, sculpture, textiles, fabrics, many different mediums of paintings and more.
