On Saturday, February 14, a Valentine’s Day event will take place at The Oracle, organised by the charity Cianna’s Smile in partnership with the shopping centre.
The event will raise awareness of sickle cell disorder and encourage blood donations in support of children and families affected by the condition.
Hayley King, founder of Cianna’s Smile, said: “This event is about bringing our community together to learn, connect and take action.
“For families, it’s a chance to enjoy fun activities, but it’s also an opportunity to better understand sickle cell and the vital role blood donation plays in saving lives.”
The event will take place on the lower mall near Holybrook junction at The Oracle, running from 10am to 3pm.
Visitors will have the opportunity to register as blood donors, receive eligibility advice, and book their first donation appointment on the spot.
