Our Year 9 Visual Art students have recently produced stunning skate deck designs… each and every student has developed personally unique and original concepts.
As a class, we researched the history of skate deck and surfboard graphics. Students explored the work of many visual artists using skate and surf culture to inspire their works, as well as exploring visual imagery related to their own interests and personal aesthetic.
Concepts were developed, refined and upscaled as students experimented with painting, drawing and illustration techniques. We are so proud of what we have achieved.
