A solo exhibition by acclaimed graphic artist and storyteller Dan Berry is opening this month at Swan Hill Studios in Shrewsbury.
Outside the Lines, opening on Thursday, April 16, showcases Berry’s bold and imaginative work in comics, illustration and visual storytelling. Known for his innovative approach to graphic narrative, Berry’s work explores how stories can be told through image, rhythm and page design.
The exhibition opens with a private view from 5.30pm to 8pm, where visitors can meet the artist and take part in a collaborative zine jam, creating their own mini illustrated publications.
Alongside the exhibition, Berry will also lead a Graphic Storytelling Masterclass on Wednesday, April 22, offering insight into comic-making, pacing and narrative illustration.
The show continues Swan Hill Studio’s programme of artist-led exhibitions and creative events in the centre of Shrewsbury, bringing contemporary visual culture to local audiences.
