A collection of digital paintings by Macedonian artist Sara Stanoeska is on display at KUNĊETT, 51 Strait Street, Valletta.
The exhibition will run until 31st May, with free entry for all visitors. All canvas prints on display will be available for purchase, while paper prints will also be made available from 15th May onwards.
Marking Stanoeska’s first international exhibition, the collection explores themes of psychological introspection and the complexities of the human condition. Through vivid symbolism, the works reflect the artist’s personal experiences while also offering a broader commentary on human nature.
The exhibition brings together pieces from her “Genesis” and “Defragmentations of the Self” series, alongside selected standalone works that expand on similar themes and motifs.
Based in Skopje, Stanoeska is a self-taught artist working across digital and traditional media. With a professional background in graphic design and illustration, her work spans book and board game illustration, concept art, and marketing and promotional projects.
She is currently developing an illustrated tarot deck, which is expected to be published next year.
Drawing inspiration from folklore, fantasy, and symbolic storytelling, Stanoeska’s work is characterised by a distinctive visual language that runs consistently throughout her portfolio.
The exhibition at KUNĊETT offers visitors an opportunity to explore her perspective on identity, transformation, and the human experience.
