Following its un-boo-lievable success last year, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, one of Ireland’s largest and most vibrant retail experiences, is excited to announce the return of the Disco of the Dead.

The free event is running from Monday, October 28, to Thursday, October 31.

And little shoppers are invited to dress to impress by putting together their most fright-tastic costume and heading down to Liffey Valley this midterm.

There will also be a ‘Glow in the Dark’ UV face painting experience for every mini ghoul, transforming them into spooky, glowing creatures of the night before they move to the beat under vibrant neon lights.

And DJ Dead Danny is back and better than ever, getting ready to spin the decks with his most iconic tunes.

He’s also bringing along an array of spooktacular prizes for the best-dressed movers and groovers.

There will be plenty of tricks and treats from some of the top retailers at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre.

Each day, disco dancers will even have the chance to win a €50 One4All voucher.

This event is completely free, and no pre-booking is required. Just be sure to head down early to beat the queue.

Speaking to the announcement, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre Director Denis O’Connell said: “We’re excited to announce the return of the Disco of the Dead, which offers our customers a free family-friendly experience over the midterm break.

Pumpkin Picking Scandal: The Hidden Truth Behind Your Favorite Autumn Activity

“This year has seen a calendar of successful events, celebrated by Liffey Valley, which we aim to continue to elevate in the final quarter of this year with Halloween and the return of Santa to the Centre.

“The Halloween celebrations will give families the opportunity to enjoy a totally free seasonal experience on their doorstep.”

Liffey Valley is pulling out all the stops to ensure this is an unforgettable Halloween experience for the whole family.

You can finish the day with a stroll around the 80 retail options, where you can pick up the final touches of spooky season decorations and delicious treats for trick-or-treaters.

Another family Halloween event is taking place in the capital.

A paranormal investigation event will be held in Dublin’s Mansion House over Halloween.

There will also be a Family Friendly Pumpkin Patch, face-painting and fun Halloween decorations.

The Lord Mayor of Dublin, James Geoghegan told how the event is about using the house for “something different”.
