More than 100 artists, exhibitors, musicians, food vendors and demonstrators will sprawl across 13 acres on the Guadalupe River when the Texas Arts and Crafts Fair returns to Kerr County on the grounds of the Hill Country Arts Foundation in Ingram this weekend.
The event will open from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, with activities from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3.
Marking its 52nd year, this fall’s event promises a return of favorite features and a few changes, including Friday Night Lights, featuring live music and the full slate of artists presenting their work under the huge lighted festival tents. Admission is $10 and will be good for both days of the fair. All students younger than 12 will be admitted free of charge.
Visitors will be treated to a wide range of arts and crafts exclusively by Texas residents, as well as favorite fair food offerings, entertainment and related educational and recreational activities.
The invitation-only Heritage Artists exhibit will be indoors at the foundation’s Duncan-McAshan Gallery. Invited exhibitors include regional artists who have a historical connection to the fair and to the Hill Country Arts Foundation.
Pickin’ and grinnin’ on the Stonehenge Stage will feature Clifton Fifer’s Sunday morning gospel set, along with other Texas musicians, including Chris Huber and Friends, The Flashbacks, Mark Squared, Haywire and the Time Bandits.
Joining the food lineup this year will be Conchita’s Mexican Fusion Cuisine, along with perennial favorites Mac’N Wag’N, Texas Street Crepes, Whiskey & Brisket and BrewTeaFul, among other crowd pleasers.
