Joia is a joint venture between sisters Becca Price and Zoe Owen and will be open to the public from 10am this Saturday, March 28.
Joia is an arts and craft shop, which will be selling products, as well as putting on workshops for children and their families.
“We’re so excited to finally share our new home with you,” read a post on the new Joia Facebook page.
“You’ll find us on Builth Wells High Street, right in the heart of this wonderful community of independent businesses.
“We can’t wait to welcome you through our doors soon. Make sure you’re following us for opening day details.”
The shop is located at No22 High Street, which previously housed The Silver Pig, which was itself a fabrics and craft shop for a short time.
In addition to selling a variety of items like stationary and crafts you can do at home, Becca and Zoe will also be putting on workshops, and they already have a fabulous list of classes lined up for the Easter holidays.
These include spring flower pot decorating, Easter egg bunting, canvas bag painting, a fabric art workshop and mini birdhouse decorating.

These workshops will be for children aged 6 and older, starting from March 31 and going into April.
“We are an arts, crafts and stationery shop offering creative workshops and parties for both adults and children,” added Becca and Zoe.
“Joia was lovingly created by sisters Becca and Zoe and brought to life through their shared passion for creativity.
“Our aim is to inspire imagination and nurture creativity in children by providing a space where ideas can truly come to life.”
Spaces on the initial list of workshops are limited and you can book via email at joiabuilth@gmail.com.
Check out the posters in the shop window for more information, visit the Joia Facebook page or call in from 10am on Saturday.
