In honor of Memorial Day 2025, Covington Veterans Foundation presented the framed print “A Hero Comes Home” to Principal Tony Ingram and students at Red Level High School on May 19.
“A Hero Comes Home” is a tribute to fallen soldiers commissioned by Vick and painted by local artist Roger Powell based on Vick’s early childhood memories of seeing the caskets of fallen soldiers when the train came through the Red Level Depot.
