A Christmas mosaic created by the group, which depicted Mary and Joseph, received glowing feedback.

Visitors called it a “beautiful and traditional piece of festive art”.

Since then, residents have completed an abstract painting inspired by meadow flowers, demonstrating their creativity and individuality.

A spokesperson for Pemberley House Care Home said: “Most recently, residents completed an abstract painting inspired by meadow flowers, showcasing both imagination and individuality.

“The sessions have become a highlight of the week, offering residents a chance to express themselves, learn new skills and enjoy a shared sense of achievement.

“At Pemberley House, meaningful activities are at the heart of daily life, and the success of the acrylic painting project reflects the home’s commitment to creating opportunities that bring purpose, joy and confidence to residents.”
