I love shapewear. I also adore tie-back, corset-like tops, and virtually any other sartorial style that cinches the waist while smoothing errant lumps (which plague me beneath thin, clingy fabrics). Imagine my delight, then, when I discovered a swimwear brand that fulfills my wildest dreams: TA3, a “mega-sculpting” line of swimwear and attire, melds the body-sculpting elements of shapewear with the torso-toning effect of a tie-back top. Naturally, I immediately nabbed two of its suits. Sydney Sweeney—who’s known to don some seriously stellar swimwear—has been spotted in the brand. Drew Baryrmore and Beyoncé, among other stars, have also worn TA3 one-piece suits, per TA3’s website.

TA3’s collection of sculpting one-pieces (and a handful of high-waisted bikinis) are designed to cinch the waist, lift the bust, and, ultimately, create a sexy hourglass silhouette on all body shapes and types. Size options range from XXS to 4X, with bust sizes supporting A-H cups. Made with medium-compression fabric, the suits smooth and snatch—hence the hundreds of zealous shopper reviews on the brand’s site. I love my TA3 suits so much, I’ve even worn them as bodysuits beneath my favorite baggy jeans, where they flatter my shape while adding a pop of vibrant color to an otherwise simple outfit.

TA3 swimwear also comes in a range of torso-sizing options from short to extra-long, making its suits a win for petite shoppers, tall shoppers, and anyone in between. At 5’ 6” I find the long torso option works; my sister, who is 5′ 8” and has never been a “one-piece person,” is thrilled to find a swimwear brand that accommodates her long torso. She plans to nab the sporty surfer style.

TA3 Brazilian Plungey Suit

TA3

Available in six patterns and hues—including a leopard print I’m partial to—this sexy style has a V-neckline, cheeky back, and the brand’s famous corset-style waist. The medium-weight, mildly compressive fabric and waist-cinching corset-style back make me feel incredibly sexy; sexier, in fact, than I’ve felt in any barely-there bikini I’ve worn.

Bombshell Suit, Papaya

TA3

True to its name, this style does, in fact, make me feel like a bombshell. I own the orange hue, but I plan to purchase the white and black colorways ahead of summer. The suit has a structured silhouette and (removable) push-up bust pads, which lift and support my DDs unlike most suits I’ve worn.

The most flattering, celebrity-worn swimsuit brand you’ll ever try, shop my favorite TA3 styles, as well as more I’m eyeing, below.
