This week, and for the sixth consecutive year, the major textile craft exhibition XTANT returns.
Over five days, from May 8-12, between 11am and 7pm, 90 artist–artisans from 35 countries will showcase their work and craftsmanship in the setting of Palau Can Vivot. Workshops, talks and exchanges will once again be woven together.
For this edition, and for the first time, there will also be an event at the iconic Castell de Bellver, featuring an exhibition centred on Mallorcan wool: “Dreams of Wool” on Saturday 9 May from 10am to 7pm. At 6pm, a performance by LOV Foundation and visual artist Orly Anan: “We Grow in a Circle”, with singer Julia Colom.
