A big arts and crafts fair showcasing the talents of its stall holders will take place in Leamington next month.
The Spark Presents: Makers’ Fair will take place outside the Royal Spa Centre on Friday March 13 from 10am to 3pm.
The free event will showcase a vibrant mix of ceramics, illustrations, prints, textiles and gifts – each piece handmade by artists and craftspeople from across the Warwick district.
Now in its second year, the Makers’ Fair forms part of ‘Spark Presents’, a Warwick District Council (WDC) Arts Section programme which aims to support and celebrate the area’s creative community.

Delivered in collaboration with Art in the Park Leamington, the event builds on last year’s success in drawing new audiences and customers to local makers.
Councillor Ella Billiald, portfolio holder for arts, culture and economy at WDC, said: “It’s fantastic to see the ‘Spark Presents: Makers’ Fair/Art in the Park collaboration, returning for a second year, utilising the space outside the Royal Spa Centre.
” Events like this are a brilliant way to support our local creative community, helping artists and makers reach new audiences whilst adding a little magic to our town centres.
“It is a superb example of how culture can be part of everyday life in Leamington.”

Kate Livingston, Director of Art in the Park, added: “This collaboration is a valuable opportunity for local artists and makers, particularly during the winter months when many of our programmes are quieter.
“Working with WDC on The Makers’ Fair allows us to support creatives at a different time of year and in a different setting, and it’s been brilliant to see how positively people respond.”
