The event named “The Great RSF Make-off” will showcase the talents of the young people they support as well as parents and carers, staff and trustees.
Heidi Ridgewell, Family Support worker at RSF, said: “Over the years we have often marvelled at some of the artwork that is given to staff in the form of cards and pictures.”
“We then started to think about parents who were running businesses based around their individual skills and families whose hobby has provided relief from the often stressful times that they face and our staff who are extremely creative too. We decided to run the event to give others the chance to see the variety of talents that the RSF families have and celebrate their skills.”
It will be held at The Hungate Centre, Pickering on Saturday, March 22, from 10am – 3pm. The exhibition is free to enter. Cakes and drinks will be available to buy to raise funds for the charity.
