Around 20 local young sellers have registered for the event. Visitors can browse a wide range of products made by young people themselves, including jewellery, stickers, ceramics, art and various handicrafts.
– The event is being organised for the third time at the request of young people. The previous events held before Christmas were popular and warm-spirited, and the young people’s products sold very well. In addition, there have been regular requests for flea market events at Veturitallit, so it felt natural to combine one this spring with this event, says Ilona Kivelä, youth worker at Veturitallit, City of Jyväskylä Youth Services.
The event will take place at Jyväskylä’s Veturitallit (Veturitallinkatu 6). Café Kisko will be open for visitors throughout the event. Visitors are encouraged to use paid parking facilities, such as the nearby P‑Matkakeskus car park.
