NTE That’s Not a Painting location
You can find the That’s Not a Painting Anomaly Commission south-west of Yuru Town and west Caltrop Lake in the Miguel District in NTE. We’ve marked its location on the map below too:
When you’re here, you should see a pair of buildings. To start the That’s Not a Painting Anomaly Commission you need to walk into the grassy area behind the houses and locate the painting on an easel next to the mannequin.
NTE That’s Not a Painting walkthrough
To complete the That’s Not a Painting Anomaly Commission you need to line up all the paintings with the right viewpoint to solve the puzzles.
Puzzle One
The first thing you need to do when you’ve located the start of the puzzle is to move your camera’s view until the painting of the doors on the easel line up with the archway behind it. Once you’re aligned, the painting will start to flicker and eventually disappear, creating an open doorway where the arch was.
Puzzle Two
Walk through the newly open doorway and locate the next painting in the middle of the room with a moon and door on it. Don’t let the moon half distract you, all you need to do is line up the right side of the painting with the left side of the doorway just behind it.
Once aligned, another doorway will open into the next space.
You might have to be patient when aligning this one, it took me a few tries for the game to register that I’d gotten it right. If it does this for you, move the camera and realign it again until it registers.
Puzzle Three
Walk through the newly opened doorway and down the stairs into the dark room, then head to the left to find the next easel. This time, the painting is to do with the lights focused on the large horse statue behind it.
To solve this one, move your camera so that the painting lines up with the right side of the horse statue so that the light is in line with the rear of the horse.
Puzzle Four
The final puzzle is in the same room as the previous one. Face the large horse statue and then look to your left, you should find a small easel with a painting on it near a desk here. You should also notice there’s a small door model on the desk too.
Stand behind the desk so that you can line up the model door with the gap on the left side of the painting. Again, once this is aligned, the final doorway will open. Exit out of this door and the Anomaly Commission will be marked complete.
