BERLIN Walls Gallery, a range of artworks curated by Simon Hearnden, returns to the Old Fire Station Gallery over the Easter weekend.
Simon, who grew up in Crazies Hill and lives in Worcestershire, says he will bring “a typically eye-catching collection of decorative, collectable and affordable original artworks and editions”.
“It features a stronger abstract bias, with a number of large works and even a twist of surrealism,” he adds.
Alongside paintings that Simon has curated by artists with a Berlin connection, such as Walter Lindner, there will be works by Alistair Grant, former printmaking professor at the Royal Society of Printmakers and contemporary Dutch printmaker Piet Warffemius.
Simon has arranged an “Easter print hunt”, as six prints in the browsers will have an undisclosed half price discount upon purchase. The exhibition runs at the gallery in Upper Market Place from today (Friday) until Tuesday, April 22.
