ELKHART, Ind. (WNDU) – The Midwest Museum of American Art is hosting a four-day printmaking workshop for those looking for a creative way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

The workshop teaches participants the art of linocut printing, including how to design, carve and print their own images to create something special for their valentine.

Jennifer Burns Abrell from the Midwest Museum of American Art appeared on WNDU 16 News Now at Noon to discuss the workshop.

The workshop will be held Feb. 2, 4, 9 and 11 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The cost is $90 for museum members or $100 for non-members.

Registration is available by calling 574-293-6660 or emailing r.roberts@midwestmuseum.org. The workshop is limited to 15 participants.

Participants must be 16 years of age or older.
