The Stylpro Firmer Neck & Face Smoother is the bestselling sculpting electrical beauty tool – but what is it really like to use?
I had considered getting one of the many LED facial sculpting beauty tools for some time – if you’ve read my articles before, you’ll know I’m a sucker for any kind of beauty gadget.
But, I had always resisted because I have an LED mask and thought I didn’t need another LED facial product to be quite honest – but when I read that the Stylpro Firmer Neck & Face Smoother had become the bestselling sculpting electrical beauty tool at Boots*, I caved and decided to give it a go.
I’m really glad I did. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t expecting to be that bothered by it, but I absolutely love it and wish I’d got it sooner. It might use the same LED therapy as my LED mask, and the overall purpose of helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles might be the same too, but it’s so much simpler, quicker and easier to use.
While I love my LED mask, using it does feel a little cumbersome at times simply because you have to make sure it is positioned perfectly on your face – and then you have to stay very still for a few minutes while it does its job.
I have been using it pretty much daily for almost a month now, so while I can’t comment on the longer term affects, I am pleased with the results I have seen in the shorter term. Now I’m in my early 30s, there’s no denying that the lines on my face are becoming a little more pronounced, especially on my forehead. But, I can see that they are getting less noticeable with each use.
My hope is that after another month of use, and another month, and another month, I’ll give mother nature a little helping hand in making sure that I age gracefully. For those that are wondering, it’s the red LED light which stimulates collagen production and therefore helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
The blue LED light, meanwhile, is created to reduce puffiness and soothe acne. I don’t suffer from acne – bar the odd spot here and there – so I can’t really comment on this aspect, and neither would I say puffiness is a problem for me – but when I use the the Stylpro Firmer Neck & Face Smoother around my eyes they do feel brighter and more refreshed.
As well as being an effective beauty tool, I love how neat and sleek looking the device is too. It is compact, so I’ll easily be able to pack it in my make-up bag or toiletry bag when I go away. Plus, the shaped head means it’s easy and effortless to glide it around all the key areas of my face including my forehead, under my eyes and my jawline. It’s quick and easy to charge too with the included cable – I just wish there had been a travel pouch included!
Overall, however, I would highly recommend adding the Stylpro Firmer Neck & Face Smoother to your home beauty tech collection – and at such a low price point I don’t mind buying my own pouch to store and carry this in.
